Pre-order: ships October 31, 2026. Limited to 100 units.
The Cortex Bridge connects stock Bambu Lab AMS units to a Klipper 3D printer. Nothing on the AMS is opened or flashed: the AMS keeps its Bambu Lab firmware, and Klipper drives it through the OpenAMS software.
- Up to four AMS1, AMS 2 Pro or AMS HT units, daisy-chained
- Uses Bambu Lab's standard AMS filament buffer as the pressure sensor: no OpenAMS FPS board needed
- USB to the Klipper computer; 24 V from the printer's own power supply
- 5 A fuse and reverse-polarity protection on the 24 V input; three status LEDs
- Signed firmware updates, installed from the command line
In the box
- Cortex Bridge board, Rev A4
- A stronger replacement spring for the AMS filament buffer
You also need
- A Klipper printer with Moonraker and Mainsail
- A USB data cable (USB-A to USB-C) and two wires from the printer's 24 V supply, rated for 5 A
- Bambu Lab's AMS filament buffer with its 4-pin cable (included with the AMS1; for the AMS 2 Pro, comes with Bambu Lab's filament buffer), and the 6-pin AMS cable (included with the AMS).
- PTFE tube, 3 mm inside diameter, and a filament cutter at the toolhead
- A printed case: the files are free
